Hi!  Growing up, my next-door neighbor was a photographer and always had her camera with her taking photos of my siblings and I.  Without the photos she took of us, I probably wouldn't have any childhood photos.  I am the oldest child from a large family, and now that I am a mom of 3 myself, I completely understand why my parents didn't have time to follow us around with a camera.  So, I am thankful that my next-door neighbor took the time to photo-document my childhood.

 

Life is remarkable and should be documented through beautiful portraits.  I am passionate about documenting people and families through my photography.  I don't believe in "picture-perfect" as I can easily find beauty in chaos.  A beautiful black & white photo makes my heart pitter-patter in a way I can't describe.  I prefer candid vs. posed shots, but I am comfortable with either.  I love capturing the love and energy shared between a family.

I am a natural-light photographer and don't tend to heavily edit my images.  I am more interested in capturing the natural beauty that exists in each person.  My goal as your photographer is to make you feel comfortable enough to just be yourself - that is where the real beauty is.  I want to make photos that truly represent you and your family, capturing who and where you are in life at that exact moment in time.

I am located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  I frequently travel to Batesville, Indiana, to visit my husband's family.  I am available to provide my photography services within 25 miles of either location.
